Challenges to Select a Spring Starter
But this is also a challenge to the selected spring starter. First of all, long-term storage needs to ensure that the energy does not decay. The start reliability requires sufficient and stable start energy. The explosion-proof requirement is the natural pre-engagement of the spring energy storage starter. The gear mechanism can be satisfied. And as the only starting method, spring starting has very high requirements on the quality of spring start, and the product life and energy density require strict standards.
But the core problem is that the machine is small, the installation space of the 0.7L engine is severely limited, and the load needs to be carried without a clutch, and it needs to be started with the load. Through communication with customers, we learned that customers cannot make any changes to the engine due to the use of the site, so the challenge facing Shuangao Company is how to make the spring starter explode stably in such a compact space The energy required to start the engine is output.
The Final Decision on Spring Starter Design
Prior to this, Shuangao’s smallest model was designed for a 4L engine, and the energy far exceeded the demand for a 0.7L engine, but the existing shape design could not meet the installation requirements. In the end, Shuangao decided to design a spring starter model that meets the installation requirements for the ultra-small model with a displacement of less than 2L. Moreover, according to the specified engine model, the installation interface is a non-international standard interface, and it is necessary to reopen the mold design and disassemble and analyze the three-dimensional model of the engine.
After many days of research and development, Cqstart Company finally designed and processed the products within the customer’s demand period. The final product is only the size of a Coke bottle, but the burst of energy is a lot. After the company’s product laboratory test, the energy can fully meet the customer’s needs and leave a margin. The next step is the necessary steps for new product development, the product durability test lasting one month, and the repeated stress test for one month. After dismantling and testing, the internal parts are running normally, and the energy attenuation is less than 5%. Meet the design index, and deliver the product to the customer.

However, due to the raging global epidemic, customers’ installation and test plans had to be postponed again and again. Shuangao attaches great importance to this project and looks forward to customer feedback. At the end of June this year, there was good news from customers. They will test in early July. We recommend that customers communicate with us in real-time during the installation test so that the plan can proceed smoothly.
On July 8, the customer made a video call, and Shuangao guided the customer in real-time on various installation testing matters, and the prototype test was a complete success. Our newly designed spring starter can start customers’ engines 100%. In the video, the customer thanked Shuangao again and again and said that they will continue to test for a period of time.
